Canterwood were tasked with updating the interior of this already impressive yacht. This was a unique project for the Canterwood team to work on, with a sole focus on the joinery and upholstery it was far from the usual brick and mortar homes the team is used to working on. In order to carry out the works, Chichester Marina was tasked with airlifting the yacht out of the water so that works could begin. The project involved stripping the interior back to the GRP shell including doors, the galley, and both bedrooms stripped. New wall and ceiling linings were installed along with a new electrical wiring and sockets system throughout the yacht. Canterwood produced an internal and external lighting package to elevate the yacht. This included brand new LED lighting. New upholstery and carpets were installed throughout in modern marine fire-retardant fabrics. KAYO Spruce supplied all fabric including wall linings, carpets and new upholstery. The galley and all joinery was wrapped in a new satin walnut finish by Tom from Generation Graphics. This has really elevated the space and created a modern tasteful finish. Overall this was a great project for the team to work on, only taking 2 months to complete. The client was pleased with the timeframe and the new finished look.
