Once one large house, this home in Reigate has now been separated into two semi-detached houses. Our client’s already impressive family home was the subject of a home renovation and structural alteration. In collaboration with Paper Dog Architecture who specialise in designing around the client’s vision, Canterwood opened up the space on the ground floor to improve the flow of the family home and create a stunning sight line from the entrance lobby straight through to the beautiful rear gardens. In order to create this flow, we moved the stairwell in the home to sustain the smooth flow. The client opted for our Canterwood kitchen and joinery package which was handcrafted by Marcin and our talented team at our workshop in Poland. Our skilled team in the UK installed the new kitchen with care and purpose. The finished kitchen is functional for family life and simply stunning to look at. The addition of handcrafted joinery units by Canterwood Joinery offer additional storage without compromising on aesthetics. The client also wanted to update their window glazing to improve heat retention and reduce outdoor noise, and so we installed new glazing to all the windows on the property, giving them a much-needed upgrade. The family home was in need of a home office, and guided by drawings from Paper Dog Architecture, our team created the perfect home working space to escape the bustle of the family home. Turning to the patio, an outside a level threshold was created by the Canterwood team in preparation for the new patio to be developed. To ensure a seamless level threshold from the inside of the house to the outside, we increased the levels gradually. This stunning garden will now be the perfect place for the family to relax and entertain guests in the summer months.
