Monthly Moodboard Monday - Chalet Chic

Whilst our plans of zipping down the slopes of the Alps have been wiped out by covid, we thought we would look at bringing a bit of "Chalet Chic" into our homes. Timber frame buildings have risen in popularity over the years. They can be a quick and cost effective way to build – plus hold an eco element. Wood inside brings warmth and texture…

‍

So we may not have a snow-capped mountain view but large windows, free standing baths and exposed beams can add character and interest to your home. Throw in a bit of fur for a touch of luxury to dinning chairs or a big rug, to keep your toes cosy… Add a polar bear pal for company with these amazing side tables from the fun loving Graham and Green.

‍

Personally watching the light change over the top of Mont Blanc and sipping some yummy wine, is the way I love to spend my time in December with our annual family trip to Chamonix… These lovely LSA wine glasses tick all the boxes for the vessel obsessed. Lovely decorations, with a little Scandi theme, from John Lewis look cute on the tree. Finally secure some ski chic art from the iamfy.com to complete the look. Happy Holidays – where ever you are this year…
